OSSA Confined Space Entry and Monitor Training

Workers entering and working around Confined Spaces and Restricted Spaces must be trained in order to perform their duties in a safe and healthy manner. Cervus Equipment offers Fusion Safety Services OSSA certified confined space entry and monitor course. This course includes an Instructor-led powerpoint presentation, class exercises, videos, and a written knowledge test. Our confined space entry and monitoring training covers :
 
  • OSSA Regional Code of Practice and Legislative requirements
  • Recognition, Evaluation and Control of Hazards
  • Completing a Hazard Assessment
  • Classification of Confined Space levels
  • Hazardous substance and energy
  • Testing the atmosphere, ventilation, purging
  • Neutralization and Inerting
  • Entry permit system
  • Emergency response and P.P.E.

Program Length: 7 hours
OSSA Certification: Valid for 3 years

IN-CLASS TRAINING

The in-class training program offers a classroom session focused on understanding what Confined and Restricted spaces are, recognition of the hazards associated with confined and restricted spaces, implementing controls to reduce or eliminate the hazards and the duties of a Confined Space Monitor.
