Mark Dorais Celebrates 20 years with Brandt Truck & Trailer

When Mark Dorais began his career at Brandt Truck & Trailer, he saw the opportunity to grow within the organization. In six short months, Mark transitioned from a shipper receiver into the parts department and by June 2005, he had moved into a sales position.

“Having a great group of people and endless opportunities for advancement has allowed me to grow over the past 20 years”, says Mark.

Mark’s primary responsibility is to stay in touch with customers and help support their operation but seeing the satisfaction on a customer's face after a new truck delivery is his favourite part of the job. “Getting to see how happy our customers are and knowing I had a part in that is why I enjoy coming to work every day”, responds Mark, when asked what motivates him to do his job.

Over the years, Mark has had many memorable experiences, but his favourite one was on a customer appreciation trip. “I took one of my customers on an appreciation trip and when we got to our destination, he had rented us a Ferrari for the few days we were there. My co-workers all knew about it but kept it a secret; it was a great surprise.”

From customer appreciation trips to attending destination weddings with his entire family for customers that have turned into friends, Mark knows the importance of building long-lasting relationships. “We have a family environment and it’s the interactions with our customers and not just talking business that sets us apart,” says Mark.
