670 Series Single Offset Disks

Single-point depth control

The single-point depth control is base equipment.

• Conveniently located at the front of the disk
• Provides an infinite range of depths
• Eliminates lost or broken mechanical depth stops

Straight cast standards

670 Disks use massive straight standards. Straight standards direct thrust forces up to eliminate twisting of the gang tube when an obstacle is encountered. They add 7 percent more weight by disk than the previous standard and have a longer lifetime.

Self-aligning bearing

The disk harrows family have maintenance-free bearings that are self-aligning. The bearings have a high-density polymer that allows work in aggressive tillage conditions. Among the main features are:

• Minimal maintenance – greaseless bearings save time.
• Longer durability – the cast housing protects the bearings from dust and dirt. The housing is designed to provide sturdiness, reliability and wear guard, which allows it to perform better in the field.
• The bearings are mounted on the machined part of the reels and fit inside the inner race for added support.

Combination scrapers shown

Combination or rigid scrapers are available on the 670 Offset Disk.

Combination scrapers are desirable in sticky soil conditions:

• Lock rigid to prevent wear in abrasive and dry soils
• Self-adjusting for sticky soils
• Positioned for excellent residue handling

Rigid scrapers complement the strength of the 670 Disk and are adjustable for long-wear life in lighter, non-sticky soils.
