Kramer Telehandlers arrive at Brandt Agriculture

Kramer is distinguishing themselves with their comprehensive international sales network and exclusive dealers. As in Europe, John Deere dealers in Australia and New Zealand will distribute Kramer machines. The first dealer is Brandt Agriculture in Victoria (AUS) and New Zealand. A constant expansion of this sales structure ensures that customers worldwide are able to rely on the broad product portfolio and the usual, reliable service provided by the Kramer brand.
 
Kramer-Werke GmbH is a medium-sized manufacturing company in southern Germany that places great value on its own research and development. The Kramer brand represents all wheel steer loaders, telescopic wheel loaders and telehandlers with extreme manoeuvrability, stability and high degree of efficiency in material turnover for flexible and international application in agriculture, construction, gardening and landscaping, municipalities, plant hire business parks and recycling companies. “Our company is characterised by innovative and customer-oriented product development, whereby the implementation of customer requirements should be at the forefront above anything else, with the aim to provide machines for professional application”, explained Christian Stryffeler, Managing Director for Kramer-Werke GmbH.
 
The alliance formed by Kramer and John Deere affects the sales of compact machines from the Kramer brand (so-called “green line”) for agriculture. This product series is developed and manufactured on site by Kramer at Pfullendorf, and is therefore “manufactured in Germany”. “The exclusive partnership with John Deere and us as one of the leading manufacturers for compact wheel loaders and telehandlers in Europe is of great significance to us. We are confident that this will enable us to offer our agricultural distributors from John Deere access to an attractive addition to the existing product range. Our loaders are ideal for the existing demand John Deere has for progressive technology and the highest level of quality”, continued Christian Stryffeler. With the all-wheel steering, typical to Kramer, the company is not only taking its lead market position in Europe, but it is also striving for broad internationalisation: now to Australia and New Zealand.
 
Kramer begins with Brandt Agriculture in Victoria (AUS) and New Zealand
With Brandt, a distributor of John Deere for many years with nine branches in New Zealand and seven branches in southern Australia, Kramer has gained a strong partner for its market launch. This will initially be pushed with the telehandler product range. The first five machines, made up of both of the models KT276 and KT447, made their way to the new Kramer dealer in August. “We are looking forward to the partnership with Kramer and to make these machines available to our customers both in New Zealand and in Victoria, Australia”, reported Tim Ormrod, Managing Director of Brandt Agriculture Australia and New Zealand. “The Kramer product portfolio is best suited for our market and year-round application in various agricultural disciplines”, Ormrod continued. Brandt’s customers are already able to get in touch with their responsible branch and arrange a machine demo.
 
Kramer telehandlers - robust, intelligent and versatile
Telehandlers from Kramer-Werke GmbH are distinguished by their continuous technical enhancement, the latest features and powerful engines. The broad product range is complemented by increased comfort, work-load reduction thanks to operator assistance systems and a wide choice, which enable flexible application. The complete model range (KT276, KT306, KT356, KT307, KT357, KT407, KT457, KT507, KT557, KT429, KT559) is impressive with its diverse and powerful machines that fulfil the highest demands in agriculture.
 
The compact model KT276 is the first to be equipped with an EDG engine (55 kW) by Kohler. The machine’s appeal is that it is the most compact Kramer telehandler with a payload of 2.7 tonnes and a stacking height of 6 metres. Quick and precise loading movements can be achieved with the help of the electronically pilot operated joystick. Up to three movements can be carried out simultaneously with the LUDV [load-independent flow distribution] technology of the work hydraulics.
 
To enable us to better satisfy our customers’ requirements, the performance of the new KT457 (successor of the KT447) has also been modified. Alongside a payload increase of 100 kilogrammes to 4.5 tonnes, the ecospeedPRO transmission is now available as an option with its combination of maximum pushing power and a top speed of 40 km/h. The vehicle is designed for high handling capacity as transverse forces are absorbed by the lateral support of the telescopic arm when pushing with a lowered boom. Trailer loads of up to 20 tonnes are also no problem.
 
The models KT306, KT356, KT307, KT357, KT407, KT457, KT507 and KT429 are equipped with the Deutz TCD 3.6 engine with 100 Kilowatt power. The models with a 5.5 tonne payload, KT557 and KT559, will be fitted with the Deutz TCD 4.1 engine with 115 kilowatts as a standard.
 
The whole product range contains many options and features to make the vehicle more intelligent and safe. The Smart Handling operator assistance system with its three functional modes also ensures swift completion of work and greater safety. The models KT306 to KT559 can be equipped as standard with a fourth steering mode, known as the “manual crab steering”. This blocks the rear axle, whilst the front axle remains freely mobile - a clear advantage when it comes to flexibility.
 
All-round visibility is a crucial consideration for telehandlers. Kramer offers various options for optimal all-round visibility. There are two cabin heights available for some models that can be selected as an option depending on requirement. Additionally, the FOPS screen is designed in such a way that visibility is obstructed above and not through the braces - the operator therefore always has a perfect view of the attachment.
